Kamen Rider:

Kamen Rider is a long-running Tokusatsu show starring superheroes that are able to transform into armoured, masked warriors, and the franchise is famous for its constant reinvention -- every year gives us a new 'flavour' of Kamen Rider, whether they are sci-fi themed, magic-themed, alien-themed, time-travel themed, vampire-themed, detective-themed, oni-themed or even based on fruit.

Reviews for Geats and Gotchard are TBA while I catch up.

Heisei Phase era full Series Reviews:

Other series reviews will possible be incoming at some time in the future. I do plan to eventually review every single one of the Heisei series, if nothing else. There is the potential for me to do episode-by-episode reviews for some of the series, like Gaim, Build, Ex-Aid or W.

Stranger Things, Season 1: [2016]

Netflix's love letter to 80's horror/sci-fi movies and tropes, Stranger Things follows the mysterious goings-on in the small town in Indiana when a boy mysteriously goes missing and paranormal things begin to happen all over town. Pretty good stuff, despite the slightly overhyped audience that it ends up creating.

Stranger Things, Season 2: [2017]

The second season of Stranger Things, titled 'Stranger Things 2' in the show itself, follows our heroes as they try to investigate into the mysteries left-over from the climax of the first season, including a mysterious threat that may be greater than the Demogorgon from the first season.

Stranger Things, Season 3: [2019]

Stranger Things, Season 4: [2022]

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers:

What do you get when you combine a minimal budget meant to sell toys, footage from a Japanese tokusatsu show about ancient dinosaur knights, and a whole load of cheesy '90's goodness? You get the go-go-Power-Rangers! This is more of a stream-of-consciousness commentary about the episodes as I watch what's arguably one of the most iconic children's entertainment in the 90's.

MMPR will be reviewed in batches of 5 episodes for the most part, although I'll be flexible depending on what makes for a better write-up.

Game of Thrones, Season 6: [2016]

All men must die.
Blood! Politics! Dragons! Treachery!

The first season of Game of Thrones season to work on material not yet covered by the books, season six surprised book readers and TV-only watchers alike as a lot of revelations, payoffs, and of course, sweet sweet death, happens. Definitely a great season of Game of Thrones despite the slightly slower middle parts of the season, and saying any more would be spoiling things.

Maybe someday I'll review the older seasons.

Game of Thrones, Season 7: [2017]

More Blood! More Dragons! The seventh season of Game of Thrones runs shorter than the previous six, but all the disparate plotlines throughout the world of Westeros finally clash as every single faction finally land at Westeros as two Queens fight for the Iron Throne, the King in the North prepares to take the battle to the Night King, and dragons burn stuff up.

Game of Thrones, Season 8: [2019]

The final season of Game of Thrones! See how it all ends! More blood! More dragons! More treachery! More amazing special effects! A fuck-ton lack of sense in pacing and character writing!

Rick and Morty:

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rickandmorty.jpgThe pretty popular Adult Swim animated project, Rick and Morty takes hold of a a mad scientist asshole of a grandfather as well as his luckless, wimpy grandson as they go on insane, crass adventures that breaks the rules of space-time, morality as well as general sci-fi tropes. Placed here mostly because, again, it isn't a traditional superhero show.

Season One: [2013]

The Tick, Season 1:

http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/thetick_0.jpgFollowing the bombastic, if dimwitted, superhero called the Tick, this series is based on a long-running comic book that got a particularly popular Cartoon Network cartoon in the 90's. The Tick is equal parts trying to parody and tell a superhero story, and naturally a live-action adaptation emerged in a time where superhero TV shows are everywhere. It's actually a pretty good stuff.

Season One: [2016-2018]

Star Trek: Discovery, Season 1: [2017]

The latest entry in the Star Trek series, acting as a prequel to the original Star Trek series and takes place in the new movie universe. I'm a woeful novice about the Star Trek franchise, though, so bear with me on this. Not sure how far I'll go into the series, too.

The Walking Dead, Season 1: [2010]

A long-running show, the quintessential zombie apocalypse survival show, and one I have never watched before in my life. Read as I discover the show for the first time and talk about zombie apocalypse and survival tropes.

The Walking Dead, Season 2: [2011-2012]

The season with the farm.

The Walking Dead, Season 3: [2012-2013]

The season with the prison.

The Walking Dead, Season 4: [2013-2014]

The season with the one-eyed asshole.

The Walking Dead, Season 5: [2014-2015]

The season with the safe haven of a settlement.

The Walking Dead, Season 6: [2015-2016]

The season with multiple communities.

The Walking Dead, Season 7: [2016-2017]

The season with a psychopath and a baseball bat.

The Walking Dead, Season 8: [2017-2018]

The season where I finally give up on this show.
